What is Counselling & What Can it Offer?

Linda offers a multi-dimensional approach to counselling and healing based on Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, EFT and Energy Psychotherapy. Sessions are offered either face to face, online, walking outdoors (learn more)

Self -awareness is central to transforming and healing, along with developing a healthy relationship with the self, based on self-compassion and self-acceptance.

Linda believes in creating a safe environment and helping clients to slowly develop the skills to build their confidence to explore difficult emotions, feelings and states of mind in the moment. Cultivating the skills of self-compassion helps clients to develop a kinder, healthier relationship with themselves and feel emotionally equipped through difficult times. 

It is surprising how we can unconsciously hold on to emotional distress inside the body. By mindfully working with the body’s reactions and sensations we can bring awareness to the embodiment of this distress, whilst self-compassion can bring a loving way of accepting and responding to any discomfort with kindness.

Self-critical thoughts, feelings, judgements, negative core beliefs and defences, can be eased and transformed through many of the approaches Linda supports you in developing.  By slowly and gently learning how to embrace and befriend your vulnerability, insights and freedom from old destructive patterns can be gained,  along with a deeper sense of connection with yourself and the acceptance of being human.

Linda offers short and long term work depending on the client’s needs and changes you wish to make, this can be discussed during your first session.

If notified with 48 hours notice a full refund will be given. Non attendance and appointments with less than 48 hours notice will be payable at the full rate.
